Nancy L. Downey, RN

Nancy, a nurse of 22 years, took care of my mother on day shift. I fell in love with her immediately because she was very accommodating to me and the rest of my family. Any questions or concerns we had the morning after Mom’s surgery she carefully and patiently answered. She was very helpful in giving her expert opinion on a few things I wasn’t so sure about. We talked for what seemed like an hour and never once did she make me feel rushed. She took her time to make sure we understood every answer to each of our concerns. She always wanted to know if we needed anything because she would do all she could to make sure we were comfortable. One of our conversations had diverted to our spiritual faith. I knew without hesitating that Nancy was a child of God. She assured me my mom was at the BEST FACILITY and in the BEST OF CARE for her medical situation. After that conversation, my fears were minimized. I felt a sense of calm rush over me. I’m so thankful for Nancy. She was very gentle with my mom; such a compassionate, sweet lady.
