My great-grandmama has been in the hospital for the past two weeks. It became evident after a few days that Grandmama would be staying for a while. As the end goal changed from going home to staying at the hospital and being as comfortable as possible, Mrs. Nancy was there to take care of my Grandmama. She diligently checked on her throughout the days and nights that she worked. I stayed the night with Grandmama a few times, and Mrs. Nancy checked on me to ensure I was comfortable during each "slumber party" with Grandmama. She was so genuine, sincere, and kind to each of our many family members who visited. She ensured that we had coffee, drinks, snacks, and anything we could possibly need to be comfortable. My Grandmama absolutely loved her and said there was no better nurse in all her years. We could not agree more. Each time I came to the hospital Mrs. Nancy greeted me with the sweetest smile! Despite our long stay at the hospital, Mrs. Nancy never seemed to grow weary of taking care of my Grandmama. She kept each of us informed on Grandmama's state. On my last night of visiting Grandmama, Mrs. Nancy gave me the biggest hug to say goodbye - knowing that she was with Grandmama gave me peace. She was in good hands and truly cared and I cannot thank Mrs. Nancy enough for everything she did for our family. She was the biggest blessing to me and my Grandmama!
