Nancy Maratea, MSN MNN

Nancy was my nurse for 2 shifts but within the first 30 minutes of meeting me she went above and beyond. She took me for a walk, listened to a decision I was having a hard time making without judgement or shame. Once I made my decision, she informed the rest of my team so I did not have to keep talking about it. This went above and beyond because I was really struggling and my support person had to leave.

I was so grateful for her listening ear and allowing me to express myself freely. Nancy is a very compassionate nurse and I appreciated all her time and support. Another way she went above and beyond was when she was changing shifts, she informed my next nurse how I liked my water. Something so little meant so much because it showed how much she listened, and paid attention to details to make me comfortable.
