Nancy took it upon herself to investigate anomalies that others brushed aside. Because of her investigation and because she became my advocate, I got an extremely thorough ultrasound and work-up. Luckily, they found nothing, but she pushed, pulled, and prodded and made me feel safe, well cared for, and like a person, not a product through a factory. There are two kinds of people in the world, those who have a job and those who have a calling, Nancy has a calling. I am greatly impressed with her. The ones who have the calling keep the positive momentum rolling and Nancy is absolutely that. I am a student of people, I am astute in gauging peoples' character and Nancy has a story to tell and I feel very privileged that she put her's aside to be my advocate for this little adventure. In the end, I got an additional workup because of Nancy, and who knows, in five years, that may be what saves my life.
