Nancy Pantoja, BSN, RN

Nancy is a great human being, and not only as a professional nurse. She gives so much of herself to her patients and goes the extra mile. With that being said since 2019, Nancy took care of my mother and gave me support. Since then, my mom was in and out of the hospital. In February of this year, my mom was admitted again and was very ill. I was with my mother every single day. My mom was transferred to Nancy’s unit and I asked the Charge Nurse if we could request her. That night she was completely dedicated to my mom and me. Days later, I was next to my mother as she passed. When the monitors alerted, this beautiful person ran into the room. She hugged me and gave me support. I did not feel alone at that time. People like Nancy are filled with God’s love and are the people who are needed in this profession. This unit should be proud to have her. She is an excellent nurse. I was also just recently admitted to this unit and it was a great joy to see her, as she recognized me immediately.
