When you think of an angel, you think of someone who looks down, protects and guides you and keeps you safe. Well Orthopedics has it’s own angel. Her name is Nancy Pierre-Louis. We have 2 Haitian patients that can only speak Creole French and were afraid of the unfamiliar setting. Nancy herself is from Haiti. She has come in on her days off without pay. She has purchased clothing and personal items with her own money. She has been there for the doctors to translate so that the patients know what is going on. She has been in full support of the staff, patients and doctors with a big smile and hug. She has given much happiness to these patients and her co-workers. Nancy is a true angel!
