This past weekend, while enjoying a well-deserved vacation aboard a Caribbean-bound cruise, Nancy Richmond demonstrated extraordinary courage and professionalism. Amid the festivities, a fellow passenger suddenly collapsed on the dance floor. Without hesitation, Nancy sprang into action and began performing CPR, sustaining life-saving efforts until the ship’s emergency medical team arrived.

Thanks to Nancy’s swift and decisive intervention, the passenger was successfully defibrillated, regained a pulse, and was later airlifted back to the United States for further care. It is no exaggeration to say that Nancy’s prompt response was critical to saving a life. Her willingness to act in a moment of crisis, even while off duty and on vacation, is a powerful testament to her dedication, skill, and compassion as a nurse.
