I wanted to send a thank you for the absolute exceptional care of my father received on the third floor Acute Car Unit. My dad was admitted from the ED to the 3rd floor. His nurse was so kind, thoughtful, and compassionate. His admission coincided with the end of a shift and yet her care and demeanor were as though she was just coming on for the day. When she was leaving, she introduced us to our day nurse, Nancy. There are no words to describe Nancy! Wow, what a phenomenal, compassionate nurse and human being!! Her care of my dad was so tender to observe, and she honored his dignity with amazing grace and utmost professionalism. In addition to that, she was exceptionally thoughtful and compassionate toward our family. She arranged for a comfort cart to be delivered to our room so we were able to remain with our father up until the time of his passing. The care my dad received at the hospital exceeded my expectations. We, as a family, express deep gratitude and appreciation for the superior care we all received. Many, many thanks.
