Naomi Chamberlain, RN

My father can be very stubborn and doesn't listen to others very well. After a recent surgery, he was determined to get up and move, even after Naomi told him that it would take a bit of time for the spinal to wear off. She was kind and compassionate during the time that he was determined to get up. Naomi took such compassionate, kind, and dedicated care of my dad, allowing him to maintain his dignity, independence, and stubbornness while firmly making sure that he was safe. Not only did Naomi take amazing care of my dad, but she was also extremely concerned about checking in and making sure that I was ok, respecting the fact that I was the only one there with him and acknowledging that it was a scary situation for me. I feel that she went above and beyond for my family as she treated both of us as someone needing support, not just my father. I am deeply grateful for the compassion, dedication, support, and care that she showed to both of us.
