Naomi House is so very dedicated to psychiatric patients. She is a very strong advocate for the patients and in her position in ER she helps to make sure the patients go to the right unit. She is also a leader in the psychiatry department in regard to positive changes. She leads and fundraises for NAMI because she truly has a passion for this patient population. I know that she wants to "Stamp Out the Stigma" of the mentally ill. Whenever I see something on the psych units that has to do with fundraising or has to do with helping to improve the lives of this population, chances are Naomi is involved or leading the charge. She is also extremely knowledgeable about psychiatry. She is sometimes floated out of ER to take a team on psychiatry and as a float, I often have questions. She is always willing to help me and help the patient. She is a true asset to the unit and to the hospital. She is a phenomenal team member as well and is willing to drop what she's doing to help when asked. If there is an emergent situation, she is right there supporting staff in seconds. I truly love working with this RN!
