My wife had an extraordinarily difficult labor with our first child, finally giving birth after 39 hours. Before that, it was a somewhat difficult pregnancy with an infection in December that could have caused a lot of trouble for us if not for her having received excellent care from some of the staff here.
Among the many nurses here worthy of recognition, we chose to nominate this special nurse, Naomi Johnson, because of her enduring kindness, patience and gentleness every time my wife needed her, both during the visit in December and during the past few days here with all of their trials. It was greatly appreciated and was among the highlights of our visit.
Naomi's professionalism, caring manner, and tireless dedication to the performance of her duties reflected great credit upon herself and upon this institution.
