Naomi Laida, RN
Naomi was the nurse assigned to care for a patient that was critically ill. A consensus agreement was made to withdraw care. Naomi was compassionate and supportive of the parents. She lovingly told the parents that this would be difficult, however, they would not be alone. She would be there with them. She was attentive to their needs and was with them through it all. The parents expressed their gratitude for her care in the midst of their grief. Naomi provided excellent compassionate care to the family.
