Ms. Naomi Lang, LPN, exemplifies all of the VA ICARE values: integrity, commitment, advocacy, respect, and excellence. She is always smiling and greets all Veterans in the morning; she makes my day! Ms. Lang does her job in a very professional manner, never becoming aggravated despite our many requests and the demands of her shift. She works well with her co-workers. She takes care of me like a mother and treats me as if I was her son. Ms. Lang truly deserves this award. Like a flower, sunshine is in the building when she enters. Ms. Lang transferred from the acute care area and has been a perfect fit and match for our patient population on the PRRTP unit. She is definitely an asset to us and the organization as a whole.
