I have had the pleasure of being in Naomi's care multiple times during my stays for the treatment of ALL. Naomi is not only one of the smartest I've met (studying for her Ph.D. soon), but also one of the most compassionate. She stands by all those on this floor and takes time to talk with them, guide them on their care and chemotherapy, but also acts as a charge nurse (appropriate position). She stands by her staff. I see her guide them with the same steady, calm, and capable presence she displays to patients. She walks the walk and loves her job. As a patient who has a lot of fear about many things, she calms me immediately. We have shared many family stories and similarities. She does her job with such ease and perfection and always finds time for a kind word of encouragement. Mercy should do their best to hang on to her and let her continue her path to lead, care, and educate. Love her!
