As a new nurse in the pediatric department, I went through many challenges, but the motivation and support from this educator helped me to develop myself as a skillful, competent pediatric nurse. Now, as a preceptor for the department's new staff, I get proper guidance and mentoring, which help me to fulfill my role. I received training and education as a specialized IV team nurse as part of the CLABSI prevention project. The continuing education we received from our instructor helped us to make it a successful project and maintain our key performance indicator.

Her story is not just for recognition, but her wisdom and guidance also reached our patients in receiving the right care through dedicated pediatric staff.
