One of our Oasis patients was to discharge and return tohis country of origin. He was experiencing some signs and symptoms of distress. Natalee sat with him and identified that he was feeling this way because he had nothing to bring back to his family to show for his time in this country, which is his custom. Natalee took it upon herself to go out and purchase shoes, clothing, and treats for him to bring back to his family. He was overjoyed, as he could now return with pride. We are so thrilled to be working with such a compassionate and caring individual. She truly exemplifies what being a Denver Health nurse entails.
