Nataleigh attempted to set up a hotel room or something similar via case management, and after her shift was over, she went to the store and bought them all clean clothes and supplies to get them through this ordeal.
Yesterday, a family came in via EMS as trauma patients. They were involved in an MVC and while the mother and children were okay, the father was pretty severely injured. It was a rainy day, so the entire family was soaked head to toe and covered in grass and mud. They were from out of town and stranded - no phones, no money, no clean and dry clothes, and no one to call for assistance. On top of that stress, the father was taken to emergency surgery for his injuries. It was the end of her shift, but Nataleigh was determined to help this family (mind you, they were not even her patients!). She attempted to set up a hotel room or something similar via case management, and after her shift was over, she went to the store and bought them all clean clothes and supplies to get them through this ordeal.

Nataleigh is a truly caring nurse who deserves to be recognized for her actions. She gives 100% to every patient she sees and is always available to lend a helping hand. I feel so blessed to know her and I consider her one of my closest friends. Thank you!

We had received four trauma patients who were all from the same accident. One was critical and went to surgery from the ED. We were informed by EMS in report they were from Indiana. After our shift, Nataleigh left and bought clothes for them because she knew they would not have access to the things in their car. This is not surprising for anyone who knows Nataleigh. She has also been known to go downstairs to buy food for patients if she knew their tray would not make it in time by just ordering it or if between mealtimes. She is a true example of a great nurse! She always advocates for her patients and her big heart puts everyone in her care to a whole other level.
