Natalie Baird BSN, RN, BS is a registered nurse on Obstetrics at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital. She was nominated for the Daisy Award by several patients and family members as follows:
1) Natalie has been my nurse overnight for the past two days. While I have really enjoyed my experience with all the nurses, Natalie stood out as being even more exceptional. She is patient, responsive, and thoughtful in proactively giving help and advice which I would not have even thought to have asked. In addition, Natalie has a bubbly personality which was great to have around during these first sleepless nights.
2) Natalie was awesome with my daughter and grandchild. She took time to explain and showed her what she needed to do to be comfortable to take care of the baby. Natalie went above and beyond.
