Natalie Buschmann, RN

I would like to recognize Natalie for her devoted care of my husband. She reassured me multiple times when I expressed concern. Every question I asked, she would stop what she was doing to look at me and answer any question I had and ensure that I really understood the answer to what I was asking rather than just provide an answer. When things got scary, and they did, she was straight with me. She let me know why they were concerned and what they were going to do about it. She treated my husband with dignity, even though he was unconscious, telling him what she was doing and why. It really resonated with me, and I’m grateful my husband and I had her on our journey. She is the gold standard for nurses and should receive commendation.
