My dad was very sick, and Natalie was on top of his care the entire shift. Managing his low BP, his low blood sugar, his low body temperature, his labs, his airway, skin, and dialysis. My dad has been through so much and we are so concerned with his care; it is a relief to his family to have such a skilled, knowledgeable, friendly, task-oriented nurse greet us and explain labs, meds, and parameters.
We had been without sleep for over 26 hours when Natalie met us. She was courteous, kind, friendly, understanding, but most of all, skillful. It helped us to know my dad was in good hands. I have been a nurse for almost 20 years, and I know a good nurse when I see one. Thank you, Natalie, for being awesome at your job, loving what you do, and letting it shine through. My daddy needs more nurses like you! The world could use a lot more Natalie's.
