April 2023 Honoree
Natalie Erivez, RN, BSN, CCRN
My husband had emergency open heart surgery. There was a possibility he would not survive. Once he was brought to ICU, Natalie made it her mission to make him better. She did so much for my husband I cannot express my gratitude enough. This nurse is sensitive to patients' and family concerns. She is always willing to listen to stories a patient wants to share. She is kind about answering questions and getting information from doctors as needed.
When a monitor would “beep” she was right there to check on it and do whatever was necessary. She helped him eat his meals, wash his hair, and always made sure my husband was as comfortable as possible. In addition to this, she was training a new person. This nurse is a credit to themselves and her profession. I wish there were more like her.

Thank you, Natalie, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
