Welcoming a new baby is a joyful time. However, if complications arise after birth for the mother or baby, it can quickly become worrisome. Natalie Feliciano, a newborn nursery nurse, made sure a family’s trying time was as tolerable as possible during the experience. Her co-worker, who nominated Natalie for the award, said, “She cared for this family like she would want her family to be cared for in this traumatic situation, and she is absolutely wonderful for it.” Thank you Natalie for putting your patients and their families first, and providing compassionate care!
