Natalie did not hesitate to step up and offer help to her fellow teammates and patients.
Natalie started with our team as an Acute Dialysis RN, with no experience in dialysis, during a time of dire need. I was able to observe her dedication and hard work while watching how quickly she was able to learn this new role. Natalie jumped right in and was eager to learn and help the team. In a very short amount of time, she quickly acquired new skills and techniques related to dialysis and became proficient in HD, PD, and CRRT. She developed exceptional nursing skills in regards to Nephrology Nursing during this time. Natalie has excelled in her role as Acute Dialysis RN, over the last three years she has become a wealth of knowledge and has been a great resource for both old and new teammates.
This last year Natalie has really gone above and beyond for our teams and patients. During the uncertain times of the pandemic, Natalie was one of the first nurses from our team to volunteer to travel to other cities to assist in helping with the overwhelming demands for dialysis. Natalie did not hesitate to step up and offer help to her fellow teammates and patients, often staying for weeks at a time, working long hours, picking up call shifts, helping train new nurses, all while being in a new environment herself. After staying weeks at a time helping other teams and patients, she would return to her own team and continue to support them with the same intensity. Through all the uncertainty and ups and downs over the last year, Natalie has continued to have a positive attitude, maintain a strong work ethic, and be a fun approachable teammate. Natalie is well-liked, trusted, and respected by our teammates, hospital partners, physicians, and our patients.
