Natalie took over my care about 4 hours after my arrival. Due to the nature of why I was admitted, we didn’t know a lot of information. We had no idea what time the surgery was going to take place, or even what the surgery would fully entail. It was a nerve-wracking, stressful situation. We played the waiting game and Natalie was absolutely incredible advocating for my care. She came to check on me often, knowing I was anxious and in pain. She offered encouragement and was empathic to the slightly chaotic situation. I am also an RN who works in a different hospital network, and was blown away by Natalie's kind disposition, and how much she genuinely cared about getting any details figured out to put me more at ease. She kept me informed throughout the entire process and I was so thankful that I was given the opportunity to have Natalie as my nurse. Above and beyond.

Natalie made a meaningful difference in care because whenever she came around there was such a sense of peace and comfort. She was very attentive, empathetic, understanding, and caring, and her presence was one of positivity and support. She definitely separated herself from all the other nurses we had throughout this whole process. I feel that some sort of recognition is definitely due because again, she was leaps and bounds beyond anyone else we had looking after us! We are very grateful that Natalie was our nurse.
