Natalie gave me helpful information about the abscess and what was going to be done to fix it. For the two days that she was my nurse, she took good care of me.
She did such an extraordinary job helping with two extremely confused patients. She never got frustrated, she sat right outside their rooms so they could see her. She was able to keep them calm and therefore, the floor calm. Thank you so much!

She made me feel so comfortable and well cared for. She checked on me often and made sure I had no complaints that I had not shared (like if I had any pain at all). In her care, she made me feel there was nothing to worry about. She was only a buzz away. Without being able to have family here, I could not have asked for more.

I was admitted to the hospital due to my gastroparesis. During this time, an abscess developed in my private area. I was embarrassed to tell the night shift nurse about my situation. The next day she was my daytime nurse. My abscess was getting worse. Finally, I couldn't take the pain anymore and let her know what was going on. At this point, I didn't know what was going to happen since I have never experienced an abscess in that area. In my head, I thought she was going to think of me as a dirty person because of the situation. In reality, she did not. She asked me if I would let her check the area. I did. After she was done, she let me know what was going on and would get with the doctor as soon as possible. She gave me helpful information about the abscess and what was going to be done to fix it. For the two days that she was my nurse, she took good care of me. She made sure to keep me as comfortable as I could get. To get to my point, if she didn't let me feel comfortable to tell her my situation, I would have been sent home soon and maybe the infection in my abscess could have gotten worse. I am very thankful for her to be by my side during this whole process. I can't explain how grateful I am of her for being such a great nurse. She never let me feel alone during this process. Thank you once again for your compassion and greatness towards me! She is a very hardworking and caring nurse!
