Natalie was just so awesome. To start with, I did not want to be at Soin. My sister was on the COVID unit last August and she did not enjoy her experience. I also did not want to go to another network because my other sister just died there from COVID. But the squad brought me here and said I could be transferred if needed to Kettering.

So I was already in a panic mode coming to this hospital but since admission, I truly cannot complain about any of the staff. Every single staff including housekeeping and X-ray has been great. I was in so much pain and Natalie was quick to answer my light and medicate me promptly. She came in with a friendly and caring smile. She would ask me what she could do for me to make me feel better. She was easy to talk with. I cried in the beginning all the time, I didn’t feel like I was progressing enough. She was my cheerleader, she coaxed me, gave me emotional support, encouraged me, and promised me each day would get better and easier. I know she truly cared for my well-being. She was Johnny on the Spot. She answered my questions and questions my family asked her. I felt safe and cared for by Natalie. Natalie would explain ahead of time what she was going to do. She explained my medication and made a plan to keep up with my pain level. She assessed me physically from head to toe. She is approachable and easy to talk to. Gave me tissues and a hug when I cried.

Again, all my nurses were good, but Natalie topped them. Her friendliness and promptness have certainly changed my mind about Soin. I have shared my experience with all my friends and family. This nurse was my angel in human form when I needed her so much. I wish every nurse was like her.

Thank you, Natalie, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
