Natalie Louque, RN

When I arrived here at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital, the future was so uncertain …when I finally got put in a regular room on 6th floor the hematology floor, Natalie was my first nurse on the scene.  Her smile made me instantly at ease and comfortable. I quickly learned how professional and busy she is, taking care of patients all day, but she doesn’t skip a beat. She checks on you to make sure you’re good down to the littlest tasks. If you’re needing something, she’s running to get it!  I don’t mean to take away from any of the other nurses who were on call on this floor, because they were awesome too, down to the cafeteria staff and the cleaning crew. Everyone was totally awesome. And they all deserve praise.  I just can’t get over how it was like a well-oiled machine.  But Natalie, she’s a very hard worker, but she never loses that smile, never complains, and at the end of the day, you can see how she was so tired and smiled through it all.  She still has that last smile before she goes out the door and tells you good night, that she will see you when her shift is back on.  I admire her dedication, and it is clearly made my stay here so much more comfortable and less stressful.
