Natalie is an exceptional nurse. She consistently receives praise from patients for the way she supports them during some of their most vulnerable moments. Natalie takes time to connect with patients and address their emotional needs. She strongly advocates for her patients. Recently, when a patient showed concerning neurological symptoms, Natalie pushed for immediate action and helped ensure timely treatment. Beyond bedside care, Natalie is an outstanding teammate and leader. She serves as a wound care resource nurse, provides education to staff, supports quality improvement projects, and helps represent nursing concerns to leadership. All of this while pursuing her master’s degree and caring for her family at home. Natalie’s compassion, leadership, and dedication make her truly deserving of this recognition.
