She truly made such an impact on me and my recovery.
I am no stranger to this unit. I have been here multiple times for cardioversions and ablations, and Natalie is by far the best nurse I have seen. She is a ray of sunshine in the dark world of being sick. She attended to my every need and my family's needs. She took the time to explain the procedure to my family and me. She answered all their questions and addressed their concerns. Unfortunately, I got bad news from my cardiologist and needed open-heart surgery. I came out of the lab crying, and she took the time to comfort me. She brought my family back, all of whom were upset. She took the time to comfort each and every one of them and answer any questions that they had. After the surgery, I wanted to send my thanks again. I called the unit and had her come upstairs and as soon as I saw her I started crying. She truly made such an impact on me and my recovery. She is an absolutely one-of-a-kind person with a beautiful soul

Natalie was exceptional. I came in a nervous wreck. From the moment she walked into my room, her personality was like a ray of sunshine. She instantly calmed my nerves. She took the time to explain the procedure and answered the million questions that I had. Unfortunately, I received the news that no one was prepared for: I needed open-heart surgery. I came out of the lab in shock. Natalie was there every step of the way. She listened to me while I shed a few tears. She explained the surgery and how she used to work in cardiac rehab. She herself had open-heart surgery and gave me advice. She truly is an inspiration, and I have never had a better nurse. She deserves this award and all the recognition for being a phenomenal nurse. She goes above and beyond for her patients, which is something most nurses do not do anymore.

Natalie was professional throughout the entire procedure. She took her time with me, explained not only what she was doing but the procedure as well. As an elderly patient, she was extremely kind and did everything she could to calm me down and make me feel relaxed.
