How does one select a lone flower from a beautiful bouquet? It is the spirit of this young woman that removes the sadness that comes with being ill. Her energy and her ability to make you feel that you are her only patient is amazing, especially given that she moves at the speed of light!

I mention the bouquet because I've had her several times as a nurse during my stay and her professionalism and compassion is consistent each time. I know when she reports to work because the floor gets lighter. And the fact that she stops by to say "Hello" and when she comes and says "Goodnight" when she leaves. If this is what Sinai strives for in its nurses and its staff, then Natalie is in the perfect place, being that model. I was here on Christmas. I was feeling very lonely because everyone was leaving. Then I saw her turn the corner with 3 candy canes tied in ribbons. She took the time, explained the flavors and hugged me "Happy Holiday!" Just that made it better. She is truly a care-giver.

Did I mention she listens and hears? The best thing about her was even when she was assigned to someone else, I still felt as though I could ask her for help and get it.
