After experiencing some suspicious symptoms, I scheduled a series of heart scans. After hearing a very condensed version of my story, Natalie picked up on it right away and encouraged me to go to the ER. I resisted for several reasons, including anxiety, and just wanted the tests to be run. Immediately after the CT and ECG, she came out and said she couldn’t make me go, but here was the wheelchair that was taking me (which her coworker had grabbed in haste). I was confused and frustrated but obliged. She couldn’t share what she had seen, but I could sense her serious concern. When we arrived at the ER, there were a host of ladies awaiting my arrival; she went immediately to work. Natalie kept me calm through this critical time in which I was experiencing another heart episode (attack). Ultimately, she saved my life by not letting me leave and getting me to the ER. I ended up having a quadruple bypass surgery, helping ensure my two boys didn’t have to grow up without their father, and my wife didn’t lose her spouse. I truly believe that God used her to save me. What you do matters; it matters to so many people.

Thank you, Natalie, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
