June 2026 Honoree
Natalina Venditti, RN, BSN
My mom was admitted to St. Mary’s Milwaukee after having a cardiac event and being transferred. We arrived in the CVICU, and Natalina Venditti was our first nurse in the facility. My mom was very nervous about what was going on and went into the cath lab thinking she’d have a small procedure and that we’d be on our way in a day or two. Unfortunately, the cath showed that we’d instead be staying and preparing for a quadruple bypass. Natalina’s calm and clear explanation of the next steps was incredibly helpful in getting my mom more comfortable with what was to come. We were so very grateful to have Natalina again post-op so that my mom would wake to a welcome face and someone we knew would help keep her calm in very difficult hours.
Thank you, Natalina, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
