Tosha was very caring and attentive. She had a great sense of humor which was perfect for my husband and put us at ease.
Natasha was a great nurse and I loved her. She was helpful and I enjoyed her time with me. Out of all my years of being in the hospital she is my favorite nurse.

Tosha has been a huge help explaining what is going on with the tube in his nose, how that works, and what is coming out of his stomach. She explained it better than the doctor did. She has really taken care of my husband. I'm there a lot, and I see the care she gives her patients. I am very impressed. She treats her patients like her own family. She goes above and beyond what she should be doing, and she gave him a bath, lotioned him up, and cleaned him. That's a job for the PCA, but she really took good care of my husband, and it really touched my heart. I wish there were more nurses like Tosha who really care for the patient and their wellbeing. I have never seen a nurse care so much for a patient like Tosha has cared for my husband! And my husband spit out his pills. Any reaction that I got from her was shocking; she was calm and did her best to calm him down. Then my husband asked 20 minutes later if he could take his pills. He wanted to tell the nurse he was sorry for spitting out his pills. She came back into the room. She was very pleasant, gave him his pills, and he took them for her and apologized to her. She explained how important it was for him to get the medication, and my husband kept apologizing. And she was just really calm and willing to explain to him how important this really was to have his medication because he was not comprehending how important the medication was. I've been to a lot of hospitals and seen a lot of nurses, but Tosha is one exceptional nurse. She really cares about the patient and treats the family with respect.

Tosha went above and beyond for our family. My dad has been through a transplant surgery in 2021 at UC and two brain surgeries in 2024 at UC. The second one left my dad extremely confused and agitated. My dad wasn't the easiest patient to take care of due to his confusion, but Tosha never let his confusion or mood get to her, even at his most difficult moments. I have never experienced a nurse caring so much for one of their patients and our family. She supported our family through our toughest days and was there to lend a hug or an ear to listen. From the bottom of my heart, I wish that every nurse cared as much as Tosha cares for her patients and her patients' families. Tosha, UC is lucky to have you as the best nurse.

My husband received a kidney transplant, and Tosha was our nurse. Tosha was very caring and attentive. She had a great sense of humor which was perfect for my husband and put us at ease. She was very thorough with discharge and explaining care for once we returned home. We are very thankful to have had Tosha as our nurse.

I've been to UC Hospital for a week, and every time Tosha was my nurse, she was kind, caring, and patient. She was also funny and made me laugh, which I appreciated. We shared stories. She is a wonderful nurse.
