Nate always has a smile on his face when I see him and a great sense of humor. We joke together, and it really helps lift my spirits. He truly makes a difference in my day.
When he gives me my insulin, I barely feel the needle. I always look forward to when he is working on the 90s. I have been in many hospitals, and I only submit nominations for people who truly deserve recognition.
Nate is a genuinely kind and compassionate nurse. It is not easy to make me laugh, especially first thing in the morning, but he always manages to do just that. Laughter really is the best medicine.
