Nathan Mattson, MSN-NE, RN, CNEcl, CPN

Nate Mattson was my clinical instructor this semester. He exemplified enthusiasm for this profession and helped facilitate my learning by teaching me skills that I will take with me throughout the rest of my life and career. He took the time to set aside nursing and talk about how to care for ourselves, how to serve others properly, and how to communicate with patients and coworkers. Nate took the time during our clinical shift to get to know me and my interests, gave me recommendations on how to make advancements in my career, and encouraged/empowered me by letting me know I was doing a great job. Nate was a fantastic clinical instructor and I don't think he knows truly how much I learned from him!
