Nathan was my nurse for four days in a row while I was preparing for and recovering from a serious abdominal surgery. I was scared and apprehensive about many new circumstances and challenges. Nathan was so calm, encouraging, and helpful. He was a Godsend to me this week and I am so thankful for how he helped me cope with this surgery and recovery! He let me squeeze his hand while I got a wound VAC. He educated me on medicines and procedures so I wouldn't be nervous. He talked me out of several episodes of anxiety and calmed me down. I always knew I could trust him. Nathan's competency, skills, and calming presence made me feel so much more at ease. Nathan was also an advocate for me. He helped me with my diet and IV and was such a great liaison between me and the doctors. Nathan is such a hard worker, a caring nurse, and was such a help in my recovery (both physical and mental!) that I'd love for him to be recognized publicly for the work he does on a daily basis. Thank you Nathan for doing your job with such heart and excellence!
