Ms. Morris demonstrated commitment to a veteran while deployed to the Tampa VA during Hurricane Idalia. A faulty electrical issue in the veteran's room caused a fire. Ms. Morris was calm and swift to react and used her knowledge learned from fire drills to get the veteran to safety with no adverse effects on the veteran.
