My husband was in ICU last year for eight weeks with pneumonia. Nattalie Smith was an amazing caring nurse not only to K, my husband, but to me and our three grandchildren who live with us. Every time I phoned the unit and Nattalie was looking after K she would always start the call asking how me and the children were, she was always interested in how we were getting on. She would tell me how it was with K, especially on the darkest days and nights when he was really poorly, and always said she was there for me. Since K has been home, I have been struggling with flashbacks with him in his comas and Nattalie has put me in touch with a lovely group to help me through it all. I can't thank Nattalie enough.
