Naveeda recently went above and beyond while trying to help a dying patient and her family. She tried to help them discuss code status when the patient's condition was worsening. When the patient began to request comfort care only, she was attentive at the bedside, providing a supportive presence and worked to advocate for the patient's wishes. She was very caring for a patient that was obviously suffering, and she demonstrated the highest standard of professionalism, compassion, and collaboration. She worked with all team members to get the patient the care she needed.
