Naya has been an amazing nurse. Our first experience with her was in 2012 when our daughter was 3 weeks old. She had a shunt placed. We were so fearful of taking her home. Naya made us feel so confident in knowing what to look for and when to bring her to the ED. We would come in contact with her several other times over the next 3 years. Each time she has been exceptional with her care and our comfort in our daughter's situation. Our daughter was born with Spina Bifida in early 2012, and through each surgery Naya would help calm our fears and help build our confidence in taking her home! We are currently inpatient. Our baby has had a difficult recovery from a DE tethering surgery. Naya has sincerely listened to all of our concerns and has done everything in her power to make sure we are heard.

Naya was an amazing nurse. We were involved in a very bad car wreck and she was amazing. On days that we didn't have her as our nurse, I was worried. She was patient and understanding with my son. She found what it took to keep him calm. I was scared to death when it was time to take him home. She called me into the hallway and said, "you will be fine." She told me the ABC's, asked if I needed any refresher courses and gave me a hug. I think at the moment I felt relief and knew I would be ok to take him home. If we were sleeping she was quiet and tried not to disturb us. She was amazing!!!
