I would like to nominate my RN3, Neema Lokeno, for her extraordinary effort to improve patient care here at C4 by making sure the treatment plans are completed, signed by all disciplines, and are put in the patients chat within 24 hours as expected. The treatment plans are not only put in the chats, but she makes sure that all staff have read and understood the interventions put by the treatment team, especially for those patients who are still unstable, thus improving safety for both patients and staff. This has made our ward safe to work and has made our staff to come to work because of the support we get. The good communication we have with our treatment team has been made possibly by our RN3 Neema, who has gone above and beyond to build the team and improve collaboration between all disciplines. We have been told by many that our treatment plans are the best in the hospital and C4 team is shining because of the good working relationship between all disciplines and our RN3 Neema has been the pillar to bring this good working relationship. Her passion to improve patient care and safety here on the ward has made most of the staff want to come to work. I would, therefore, like to nominate her for the DAISY Award for improving collaboration with other disciplines, and her passion for quality care and safety on our ward.
