March 2023 Honoree
Neena Dingley, RN
Neena has helped me throughout my experience of having a stoma. Her care and compassion before my op were amazing, she was so understanding of how I was feeling, I was nervous and upset but she made me feel so supported. During my recovery in hospital, she was always a welcome visitor. She helped me come to terms with my unexpected stoma and gave me such confidence to be able to cope with it.
Whilst in hospital I had a few medical problems, I was very unwell and needed help, Neena saw to it that I got it and I am eternally grateful to her for it, I'll never forget her dedication to me as a patient in my time of need. She was amazing, a real credit to the NHS. I've since had follow-up appointments with her and again she has been knowledgeable, dedicated and informative.....and above all a very caring nurse.
