Neenu has worked in stepdown now for many years and I have had the pleasure of working alongside her. Neenu is a breath of fresh air in an environment that is both mentally and physically challenging. Her work ethic is something we could all aspire to. Her attention to detail in patient care is spectacular and the support she gives her colleagues second to none. All staff from cleaners, catering, health care assistants and nursing have expressed to me at some time their observation of how skilled, professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and dedicated she is. She is a great mentor to our upcoming nurses who speak highly of her and how she treats all she meets with deserved dignity and respect. In a recent medical emergency the team she worked with on duty described her as the definition of nurse. Showing deep care and compassion to her patients and their family, while also supporting her team mates to be at their best potential in a stressful situation. We are so thankful to have Neenu on out team and feel she is very deserving candidate for the DAISY award. Neenu is an exceptional caring nurse with great understanding of each patient's needs. Patient agitation can be a challenge for staff but Neemu's very kind disposition with her patients brings a calmness to what can be a very stressful time for the patient but also instills this calmness within the team. Her smile, kind words has such a presence on step down ward with her patients.  She has a great work ethic. She respects the patients. She delivers great care. Neenu is compassionate, caring and professional at all times.
