I attended this department twice in a very short space of time. Neil stood out especially on my second visit. I was so nervous and I felt unwell and fragile.
From the minute I met this wonderful person, I felt at ease. He spoke to me every step of the way and this meant so much. Tea and biscuits were provided very quickly by Neil after the procedure and it is the little things that matter when you are a patient.
Neil even waited with me until my husband arrived to take me home, chatting naturally and making me feel cared for and reassured.
Recently I attended the outpatient department and Neil sought me out and spoke with me, making me feel again, instantly better. Thank you, Neil, for making what could have been quite traumatic due to me being so nervous and unwell, a more bearable experience.
