Nelly is a model of consistency in the OR. Every T is crossed and I is dotted to ensure her OR runs smooth and her patients' safety is always at the forefront. An extremely hard worker, who moves quickly, and she multitasks like no other. OR nurses are unsung heroes because a lot of what they do goes unseen or unnoticed. It is a really difficult job to keep the surgeons' cases running smoothly, run back and forth for supplies, assist the anesthesiologist and prioritize patient safety at all times. Nelly is exceptional at performing her job and she does this at a busy Level 2 Trauma Center, where it can get a bit crazy at times.
