I nominate Nevin Hassan for the DAISY Award for her exceptional dedication to patient care. Nurse Nevin has touched my life in ways that words cannot fully express, and her impact has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the very first moment I met Nevin, it was evident that she embodies the true essence of nursing: compassion, empathy, and unwavering dedication.

Throughout my journey under her care, she consistently went above and beyond to ensure not only my physical well-being but also my emotional comfort and peace of mind. She would take the time to listen to my concerns and talk to me, putting aside her personal feelings and stress from her life. She made me feel important and like I was never alone. She always came to check up on me and ask me how I was doing mentally. She took care of me like I was her own, and for that, I am very grateful. I went to sleep every night under her care, feeling safe and loved. Through her compassionate listening and unwavering support, she empowered me to believe in myself, to pursue my dreams with courage, and to never lose sight of the beauty and possibility that life has to offer.
