I was admitted after Sialolithiasis. After surgery, in recovery, I suffered an episode in which my heart stopped. I was administered CPR and brought up to the ICU. My nurse was Nga. She most definitely fits the criteria for this award. I have been in many hospitals and I can honestly say that Penn Medicine, with Nga as my nurse, would be my first choice from now on!

Nga went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable after one of the toughest surgeries I ever had and helped me through it.

Nga went beyond being an ICU nurse. She was in constant contact with my doctor. She asked for specialists (speech, PT, etc.) when she felt it would aid in my recovery. Did bladder sonograms, etc. She was constantly on the go, working to help. She is an asset to this hospital.

Friendly, very professional. Wonderful bedside manner. You couldn't ask for a better nurse.
