“Nga is a PICC RN at KPNCAL SAC. Nga, contacted me regarding a concern with a PICC line recall and had concerns. She immediately contacted me, the vendor, and discussed concerns with management. Without having to be told, Nga went around and collected all the recalled lines and replaced them. She also spent two endless days encouraging her team to remove any of the old PICC lines and replace them with the new ones. This took an effort to walk around and check every patient. Nga worked OT to achieve this.

Nga, is a strong member of her team. She has supported the department with several initiatives regarding PICCs and CLABSIs. She is willing and proactively identifies concerns and addresses them. Nga was also instrumental in getting her department a new Sherlock for ultrasound when the other equipment was old and ready to be retired. She takes constructive feedback seriously and wants to strive toward improvement. Her interactions with patients, families, staff, and co-workers are always helpful and kind. It is a pleasure to have Nga in the department. Nga is certified in her specialty and is always willing to mentor and train others.”
