Nick was on duty two days after my aunt arrived having suffered a massive stroke. He was the one who was there when my cousins were given the options regarding my aunt and what things would like under both options. He stayed past his shift end time that night to be a part of a family meeting and help everyone come to terms with the situation. When the decision was made to terminate medical care, the date that would happen was chosen intentionally on a day Nick would be working. He was with our family during one of the most difficult days of our lives. He had the utmost care for my aunt and kept her super comfortable as we waited for God to call her home. The level of professionalism and care was beyond anything I have ever experienced in the medical world. Nick is very clearly a standout nurse.
