I was admitted to 4B and very fearful of what to expect. My nurse, Nick, introduced himself to me. His bedside manner was unique and friendly. Always there to tend to my needs. During my 6 days stay here there were fearful procedures that I was going through, which were calmed and explained to take my apprehension away. His professionalism and love of his job shine through as I watched his interaction with patients. He listens and takes the time to follow through with helping everyone on this ward, nurses, doctors, and guests.

Nick goes far beyond the average nurse with compassion and empathy for patients’ concerns. I had issues with my heart as well during my stay, he was on top of it ensuring the correct meds were given working with the doctor. Both were the perfect working team with all the patients. You have the cream of the crop with him on board representing your hospital. A leader of the pack. I would trust this nurse with my life. I hope if ever I must return, that he would be my nurse of choice. Confident, reassuring, professional, and friendly. A gentle giant with a big heart! That’s Nick!
